1. Who controls your data

FirstAppUsers is the controller of personal data processed through this service. Privacy questions and requests can be submitted through our contact form.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

• Google account identifiers, name, and email address when you sign in with Google.
• Random guest and Promo Video visitor identifiers stored in necessary cookies to preserve your profile, protect the generation endpoint, and measure the feature funnel.
• App Store or Google Play links, app names, icons, platform information, active status, and download counters.
• Submitted screenshots, review status, points, and records of apps you have tried.
• Name, email address, and message content submitted through the contact form.
• Promo Video project details, including selected app metadata, generation choices, generated storyboard and narration, feature-use events, and any email address you voluntarily submit for watermark-free export early access.
• Technical and security information such as page path, approximate country, browser user agent, cookie preference, and a protected hash derived from an IP address.
• Cookieless analytics measurements, plus optional analytics identifiers if you accept optional cookies.

3. Why we use the data

We use personal data to provide guest and signed-in profiles, add and display apps, manage points, process screenshot submissions, generate Promo Video previews, prevent duplicate or fraudulent activity, answer messages, maintain security, understand service usage, and improve FirstAppUsers.

Promo Video feature events help us understand demand for the tool. If you voluntarily join its early-access list, we use your email only to notify you about watermark-free video exports; we do not automatically add it to a general marketing list.

Depending on the processing activity, we rely on performance of the service requested by you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, your consent for optional analytics, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and local identifiers

Necessary cookies keep your session, guest profile, apps, points, submissions, and cookie preference working. Google Analytics may receive cookieless measurements while analytics storage is denied. Analytics cookies and persistent analytics identifiers are used only after you accept optional cookies. You can reject optional cookies without losing the core service.

5. Services that may receive data

We use service providers where necessary to operate FirstAppUsers. These may include our hosting and database providers, Google for sign-in and Google Analytics, and Telegram for operational notifications. Apple and Google may receive technical request data when store-hosted icons or screenshots load and when you open their store links; the Promo Video page does not send a referrer with those asset requests.

For Promo Video previews, OpenAI may process public app metadata and generation choices to create a storyboard, and HeyGen may process the generated narration to create a voice preview. We do not send Promo Video early-access email addresses to these providers for those generation tasks.

Contact messages and certain operational events may be included in Telegram notifications so that we can respond or administer the service. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country or the European Economic Area. Where data-protection law requires it, transfers must rely on a lawful transfer mechanism or another legally recognised safeguard provided by the relevant service provider.

7. How long we keep data

We keep data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, administer points and submissions, generate Promo Video previews, measure feature demand, answer contact messages, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Promo Video early-access emails are kept only while needed to provide the requested availability notification or until deletion is requested. Retention may also depend on whether your profile remains active. Limited data may remain temporarily in backups or security records.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data. You may also object to certain processing and withdraw consent for optional processing. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal data. No online service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Children

FirstAppUsers is not intended for children under 16. Do not use the service or submit personal data if you are under 16.
